Kyrgyzstan adopts Kazakhstan’s experience in providing public services

Deputy Chairman of the State Corporation “Government for Citizens” Birzhan Zhunusov demonstrated to his colleagues the processes, ranging from accepting documents in front offices to assigning social payments to clients. He also presented new formats for the provision of public services in electronic, proactive and composite formats. It should be noted that Kazakhstan was the first in the CIS to introduce a proactive method of providing social benefits services.
During the meeting, members of the delegation visually familiarized themselves with the activities of the front offices, back offices of the State Corporation and structural divisions of the authorized body for the assignment of pensions and benefits, studied the work of the e-government portal egov.kz., as well as new services for receiving government services online through the TelegramBot messenger and the eGov-mobile mobile application.
The delegates noted that when organizing the provision of public services, much attention is paid to increasing their accessibility to persons with special needs. Thus, public service centers in Kazakhstan are equipped with ramps, call buttons, signs with Braille text, tactile paths for the visually impaired and preferential windows for convenience.
Also, disabled people of groups I and II have the opportunity to receive government services at home without visiting a public service center. To do this, you need to submit an application to the contact center 1414. Note that Kazakhstanis can also consult on all issues of the social sphere through the number 1414 - the assignment of pensions and benefits.
Chairman of the Social Fund of Kyrgyzstan Zhanybek Orozaliev highly appreciated the achievements of Kazakhstan in improving the processes of providing services. “I am very impressed by the activities of the State Corporation. You have created a mechanism to improve the conditions and mobility of citizens. Over the past 5 years, Kazakhstan has achieved great success and is working ahead of its colleagues from neighboring countries in customer focus and digitalization of public services. Based on the results of our meeting, I intend to use similar methods and processes for providing public services in my country with my colleagues,” said the representative of the delegation.
Let us recall that earlier, as part of an exchange of experience in providing services in the social sphere, delegations from Mongolia and Georgia visited Kazakhstan.
