29 connection points were opened in 20 regions of Kazakhstan, where citizens can independently receive government services. Self-service zones are located in public places such as shopping centers, markets, bus stations and banks.
Note that the connection point is an area where citizens are helped to independently receive services through the e-government portal. Here clients can order such popular services as obtaining an electronic signature, registration at the place of residence, obtaining a certificate of pension accruals and others.
“Last year, Kazakhstanis received more than 15 million services in the self-service sectors at public service centers. We decided to scale this project and installed so-called connection points in large cities and regional centers. We chose shopping centers, markets, and a bus station not by chance; they have high traffic and it will be convenient for citizens to contact our employees to provide public services ,” said Arman Kenzhegaliev, Chairman of the Board of the State Corporation.
By the way, to date, more than 2 thousand services have been provided through self-service sectors in shopping centers and bazaars. One of the most popular services in January was the submission of applications to correct information on civil registration. Citizens submitted applications to add information about children to participate in the National Fund for Children program.
