Digital Bridge 2023: The innovative project of the State Corporation “Documentation Terminal” was presented to the Head of State

At the Digital Bridge 2023 forum, the Chairman of the Board of the NJSC State Corporation Government for Citizens presented a documentation terminal to the President of the Republic of Kazakhstan and guests of the event.

A unique project has already been implemented in Astana and Almaty. Thanks to the terminals, citizens can independently apply for a passport and identity card. In this case, clients can choose the most successful photo and pay the state fee on the spot. It will take no more than 5 minutes to submit your application.

“Since the beginning of the year, about 2 million citizens have received passports and identity cards. For many years, this service has been one of the most popular in Kazakhstan. In order for citizens to receive it quickly and without waiting in line, the State Corporation, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, implemented the Documentation Terminal project. Now more than 25% of requests to public service centers in which terminals are installed are submitted by citizens independently,” noted Chairman of the Board of the State Corporation Suyenish Abdildin.

Today, the terminals operate in public service centers in Astana at the address: st. Kerey, Zhanibek Khandar, 4 and in Almaty at Markova St., 44. As part of scaling the project, terminals have been installed in all public service centers in Astana, and connection work is underway. According to the Chairman of the Board of the State Corporation, in the future it is planned to install similar devices throughout Kazakhstan.

It should be noted that the annual international IT forum Digital Bridge 2023 is taking place in the capital on October 12-13. The forum also sums up the results of the National Competition for Project Management “Qazaqstan Project Management Awards – 2023”. The strategy and project management service of the State Corporation is represented in the category “Best Project Office of 2023”. The project “Automated platform for receiving requests “eOtinish”” was nominated in the special nomination “Best project to improve the public administration system.” Participants of the State Corporation presented their presentations and video presentations to the experts. By the way, the award ceremony will take place on October 13 at the Congress Center.
