From June 1, 2023, 1414 consultants will provide advice on compulsory social health insurance and receiving medical care.

The unified contact center 1414 will be able to advise citizens on the issues of receiving free dental care, what services are included in the compulsory medical insurance, what can be obtained within the guaranteed volume of free medical care, and others. In addition, Kazakhstanis will be able to file a complaint against a medical organization by calling 1414.

“The State Corporation, together with the Social Health Insurance Fund, has carried out preparatory measures to receive calls on line 1414. Now our consultants will be able to help citizens on compulsory medical insurance issues. We expect that the transfer of the functions of the FSMS call center to the State Corporation will reduce the number of redirects and will increase the availability and quality of the information provided,” commented the Chairman of the Board of the State Corporation Suyenish Abdildin.

It should be noted that the unified contact center provides advice on 1,318 public services, taking into account subtypes. Operators provide consultations regarding the services of the eGov.kz portal, the eOtinish system and the activities of public service centers. In addition, line 1414 receives complaints about service at public service centers and receives applications for services for people with special needs.

Let us remind you that from April 1, 2021, the functions of the Unified Contact Center were transferred to the NJSC “State Corporation “Government for Citizens”. Since the transfer of functions to the ECC, more than 51.6 million requests have been received and processed. The percentage of customer calls increased from 87% to 98%, and the waiting time for operators to respond decreased from 2 minutes to 15 seconds. By the way, consultations at number 1414 are carried out around the clock, calls are free from both mobile and landline phones.
