One of the most popular requests for social benefits in Kazakhstan is questions of registration and receipt of maternity benefits. This is especially true when the first child appears in the family.

A lot of requests on this topic are received by the contact center for social and labor issues of the Government for Citizens State Corporation.

The share of consultations on this issue is about 20% of all requests on pension and social security issues. Among the regions on this issue, Almaty (13.7%) is in the lead, Turkestan (11.5%), Mangistau (9.7%), Almaty (9.6%) regions are located below, and the city of Nur-Karabakh closes the TOP-5 regions. Sultan (9.2%). Less interest is asked about maternity benefits in North Kazakhstan (0.7%), Kostanay (2.2%) and Pavlodar (2.6%) regions.
