At the initiative of the state corporation “Government for Citizens,” the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan introduced changes to the rules for registering rights to real estate. Now, after a transaction made with a notary to register real estate rights, the client can, if desired, for an additional amount, receive the result in an expedited manner within two hours from the moment of payment.

Today, clients who contact a notary receive results no later than one business day following the day the confirmation of payment for registration of real estate rights is received in the legal cadastre information system. Often this can delay the process of documenting the property of clients who apply for mortgages, loans, pledges and other needs with banks.

“Reducing the time it takes to provide services allows us to eliminate administrative barriers and corruption risks. We do not deny that to speed up the process, citizens looked for various loopholes, which could lead to offenses. These changes will have a significant impact on real estate sales,” says Chairman of the Board of the State Corporation Adil Kozhikhov.

Previously, “Government for Citizens” together with the Kaspi company implemented the ability to pay for the service in the Kaspi.kz application for clients who registered real estate with notaries. Let us add that in the first half of 2021, Kazakhstanis made more than 570 thousand real estate transactions with notaries.

For reference: Changes made to the Rules for the provision of public services “State registration of rights (encumbrances of rights) to real estate”, approved by order of the Minister of Justice dated August 31, 2021, will come into force on September 17, 2021.
