Every year, on the second Sunday of September, Kazakhstan celebrates Family Day. This year the holiday fell on September 13th. In this regard, the state corporation "Government for Citizens" named the TOP-3 most popular "family" public services.

They turned out to be services for the registration of the birth of children, the appointment of social benefits for loss of income in connection with pregnancy and childbirth, and the appointment of benefits for the birth of a child and child care.

So, for 8 months of this year, through the PSCs of Kazakhstan, more than 145 thousand newly-made parents received birth certificates, more than 267 thousand young mothers received benefits for the birth of a child and child care, and social benefits for loss of income in connection with pregnancy and childbirth were assigned to more 134 thousand Kazakhstanis.

You can order all these services not only in PSCs, but also on the e-government portal egov.kz, having a digital signature, or proactively using SMS if you are registered in the mobile citizens database.

By the way, the proactive childbirth service became available in Kazakhstan at the end of 2017. Immediately after the birth of a child, parents receive an SMS message with congratulations, as well as a proposal to receive a state service for registering the birth of a baby. The portal of the electronic government pulls all the information from the information systems of state bodies, and the missing information is requested from the service recipient via SMS messages. Over the past three years, more than 85 thousand Kazakh families have registered childbirth services in a proactive way.

It should be noted that since the beginning of the year more than 53 thousand couples have registered their marriage through the e-government portal egov.kz.
