According to Article 50 of the Civil Code, the owner of the property of a legal entity or the body that made the decision to liquidate the legal entity is obliged to immediately inform the judicial authority or the Government for Citizens State Corporation, which carries out the registration of legal entities, and the state revenue authority at the place of registration, in writing or via an online resource using an electronic digital signature.
The owner of the property of a legal entity or the body that made the decision to liquidate the legal entity shall appoint a liquidation commission and establish, in accordance with this Code, the procedure and deadlines for liquidation.
At the same time, for the state registration of the termination of the activity of a legal entity on the grounds of liquidation, the following documents are provided:
1) an application for state registration of the liquidation of a legal entity in the form established by the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan;
2) the decision of the owner of the property of the legal entity or the body authorized by the owner or the body of the legal entity authorized to do so by the constituent documents, sealed with the seal of the legal entity. If the legal entity is a private business entity, it is not necessary to seal the documents.;
3) a document confirming the publication in periodicals distributed throughout the Republic of Kazakhstan of information on the liquidation of a legal entity, the procedure and timing of claims by creditors;
4) a document confirming the payment to the Government for Citizens State Corporation for the state registration of the termination of the activities of a legal entity that is a commercial organization, with the exception of legal entities that are small and medium-sized businesses.
We would like to emphasize that an application for state registration of the liquidation of a legal entity is submitted to the registration authority no earlier than two months after the date of publication of information on the liquidation of the legal entity.

In order to optimize and automate the process of public services, the State Corporation sent proposals for inclusion in the draft Law "On Amendments and Additions to Certain Legislative Acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on stimulating innovation, digitalization and information security" regarding the automatic relocation of a legal entity.
Before completing the improvements on the e-gov portal, it is necessary to submit a notification with the attachment of a document confirming the location of the legal entity on the egov e-government portal.kz, by selecting the service: Business → Business Registration and Development → Business Registration and Liquidation → Registration of amendments to the charter of non-profit organizations → Notification of location changes for private business entities with the exception of joint-stock companies and their branches and representative offices.
Then, after filling in all the information about the legal address, a document confirming the location of the legal entity is attached and sent for approval to the founder (if there are several participants, the IIN of the chairman and secretary of the general meeting is entered), after approval by them with their EDS key, the head of the legal entity signs and the application is sent to the State database "Legal Entities".
In some cases, it is impossible to change the head automatically for legal entities whose founders are:
- government agency (Government, Ministry, akimat, etc.);
- legal entities (JSC, GP, LLP);
- stateless persons;
- foreign individuals and legal entities.
In this regard, it is possible to receive the service in the above cases upon the request of legal entities via E-otinish .

According to Article 14-2 of the Law "On State Registration of Legal Entities and Registration of Branches and Representative Offices", the change of the head (appointment of the head, appointment of the acting head, appointment of the manager of the property and activities of the legal entity, dismissal of the head) is notifiable and is not a public service.
Changes and additions to the registration data of a legal entity, branch (representative office), are made automatically based on an electronic notification.
To date, there are 2 ways to obtain this sub-service on the electronic government portal
1st method: you need to log in via the EDS of a legal entity on the website www.egov .kz, in the Business → Business registration and development → Business registration and liquidation → Notification of a change in the head → Order a service online → select a sub-service: Appointment of the head of a legal entity with the exception of a government agency (or the acting head appointed (elected) by the authorized body of the legal entity). Then, after filling in all the data, you send it to the appointed head of the legal entity for approval. The automatic change of information about the head of a legal entity without the participation of the registering authority is sent to the state database "Legal Entities".
2nd method: you need to log in via the EDS of the founder's individual (if there is one founder) or one of several founders (if there are several) on the website www.egov .kz, in the Business → Business registration and development → Business registration and liquidation → Notification of a change in the head → Order a service online → select a sub-service: Appointment of the head of a legal entity with the exception of a government agency (or the acting head appointed (elected) by the authorized body of the legal entity). Then, after filling out all the data, you send it to the appointed head for approval, if there are several founders, then to the founders, the chairman and the secretary of the general meeting (to add the names). Automatic change of information about the head of a legal entity without the participation of the registering authority in the state database "Legal entities".
In some cases, it is impossible to change the head automatically, for legal entities whose founders are:
- a government agency (Government, Ministry, akimat, etc.);
- legal entities (JSC, GP, LLP);
- stateless persons;
- foreign individuals and legal entities.
In this regard, it is possible to receive the service in the above cases upon the request of legal entities via E-otinish.
