Government services related to real estate will be unavailable to Kazakhstanis from April 26 to May 9, 2023

In connection with the transition to the new information system “Unified State Real Estate Cadastre”, the acceptance of applications for the provision of real estate services will be temporarily suspended.

The State Corporation reports that from April 26 to May 9, 2023, the country's public service centers will not provide all types of services in the field of state registration of rights (encumbrances) to real estate, registration of movable property that is not subject to mandatory registration and technical inspection of real estate. Due to longer terms for the execution of services on paper, as well as delivery of documents, services will be suspended at public service centers earlier than through eGov.kz. By the way, citizens who ordered the service before April 26 will be able to receive the results within the specified time frame.

At the same time, we note that from May 2 to May 9 of this year, the acceptance of documents online for registration and technical inspection of real estate through the eGov.kz portal, the system of notaries, tax authorities, second-tier banks and enforcement bodies of the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Kazakhstan will also be suspended. In addition, during this period, citizens will not be able to use services related to housing programs.

“The transition to the new system was organized on holidays so that part of the period during which services are expected to be unavailable would fall on non-working days. I would like to note that when moving to the Unified State Property Committee, all life situations related to the registration of land plots will be gradually digitized, and it will be possible to provide the entire range of government services, including the provision of adjustments for new and existing plots. Factors of legality of registration of land plots and real estate, and avoidance of corruption risks will also be worked out,” said Chairman of the Board of the State Corporation Suyenish Abdildin.

Let us recall that on April 5, 2023, the Law “On amendments and additions to certain legislative acts of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the issues of digitalization of public services in the field of land relations” was signed. In order to automate the provision of public services in the field of land relations, the State Corporation carried out work to launch the information system “Unified State Real Estate Cadastre”. The system includes information from two databases: the state database “Real Estate Register” and the automated information system of the state land cadastre. Upon completion of the transfer of all information from the databases, they will be eliminated.
