On March 19, on election day, Kazakhstanis who do not have a residence permit will be able to register at the address where the polling station is located. The service will be provided by employees of public service centers.
Across the country, out of 4 thousand polling stations, 188 will use public service centers. They will provide a service for registering citizens who do not have a residence permit at the location of the polling station. The service was created so that Kazakhstanis could vote and exercise their constitutional right.
Public service centers will process voter registration from 7:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. only on election day. Citizens will be registered for 1 day at the location of the polling station. By the way, if a citizen without registration at his place of residence applies to a school, college or university to vote, he will be registered in the educational institution itself, but on March 20 he will be automatically discharged. At the same time, we note that Kazakh citizens who are registered at their place of residence will not be registered by PSC employees on this day.
