1,650 Kazakhstanis applied to participate in the personnel reserve. Let us remind you that the state corporation “Government for Citizens” announced the launch of the project on March 1st. Those interested could register on the website within twelve days by filling out personal data and attaching documents confirming the presence of the necessary qualifications.

1,246 registrants were tested and candidates had to answer 78 verbal and numerical testing questions. 1067 applicants who answered 30% of the questions correctly were admitted to the next stage.

Among those registered for the project, residents from Nur-Sultan and the Almaty region predominate (more than 25%), the least number of applications came from the Pavlodar region. More than 8% of the Talent Pool participants have more than 10 years of work experience. The final list of candidates who passed the first stage of selection is published on the website talent.gov4c.kz.

At the second stage of testing, candidates will be tested on their knowledge of the legislation of the Republic of Kazakhstan. Participants will need to answer 90 questions within 1.5 hours on the Constitution of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Laws “On State Services”, “On Personal Data”, “On Anti-Corruption”, “On Appeals from Individuals and Legal Entities” and “On Joint Stock Companies” .

Candidates who pass the final stage after testing will be interviewed by members of the expert council, consisting of government and public figures, HR experts and board members of the state corporation. Applicants who score the highest and pass the interview stage will be included in the talent pool for subsequent appointment to the relevant vacant positions.
